If you weren't interested in waiting around for the Logic 3 keyboard (if it ever comes out), there's always this option: the Fast On-Screen Keyboard. Requiring only two keystrokes to enter in any given character, this definitely looks like it could help out in bringing you that much closer to a dedicated attachable keyboard, minus the attachable part. Divided up into seven blocks, each block holds nine characters (3x3). Of course, there's always p-sprint too.

Hi PSPFanBoy i love the site but you have linked to an incorrect page, the release was posted at http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=4261 and the coders site is at http://fosk4psp.dynamicweb.hu/
Im sure you like the coder as well would rather see the TRUE site linked to.
