Exploit for firmware 2.5 found via GTA

Hacker master Fanjita has uncovered what could be the doorway to getting homebrew apps on PSPs with firmware update 2.5. A demo called Hello World was successfully compiled via a goof in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, which allows unsigned code to be run via the game's save file. Nothing's happened yet as far as running available homebrew through the exploit, but an eboot loader should be available soon enough. Yes, people; this is a sign of things to come. And I, for one, welcome our coming homemade apps and UMD loaders.
