PSPKick v.3 out now
Mixing
music is an art. It’s also a hobby that could cost you an arm and a leg. Thank the Powers That Be then that
people like Noah Vawter and Nathan Wray come up with freebie goodies like PSPKick, the music mixing homebrew app now in
its third iteration. This new release features a host of improvements, a few of which include the ability to create
melodies out of music samples and to tweak the pitch and volume of individual notes. Now that the PSP can function like a regular instrument, I can just imagine a world where everyone creates new and fascinating tunes that’ll test the boundaries of musical convention. That is unless you’re tone deaf, in which case you should stay as far away from this app as possible.

It's PSP Kick version 3.0 Saying v.3 makes it sound like it's 0.3 Might want to edit that..

actually that's funny, cuz the PSP homebrew scene
is notorious for surprisingly conservative version
numbering! many version numbers like 0.001.1b and
0.1.3.19, etc. version 0.3 would be a big deal!
in fact pspseq (another good music prg!) once released
version 0.00! (is that more or less then 0.000?)

Hate to say it, but it's virtually a federal law that everyone try out Nitrotracker on hacked DS's. It has a touch screen interface that actually works, making tracking easy. More importantly, it lets you record your own samples on the go using the in-built microphone, complete with pitch shifts, meaning I can make a symphonious chorus even with my creaky voice.
I'm only posting here because there should be an equivalent post on DS fanboy, but alas there isn't.
