Liquid Snake to make a comeback in MGS4?

There's a small bit of information that has been revealed which hints we may yet again see the infamous Liquid Snake make an appearance in the next-gen Metal Gear installment. Banjo Ginga, who is the very same voice actor who backed the Liquid Snake role, is slated to lend a hand in MGS4 as well. While he has also been known to play other roles, like Major Zero, this could also mean our favorite brother with an inferiority complex might make his rounds too.
This may come as a surprise to fans of the series, since he kind of bit the dust a long time ago. But thanks to the miracles of fiction, he's managed to find different ways to beat the grave. What will it be this time? A transplanted foot? Cloning? Stay tuned.

He didn't die, he just evaporated. He's now Gas Snake.
The world of Metal Gear is sure a far fetched one. Read the blog about MGS at:

Sam Fisher on Metal Gear
"If you want to play realistic stealth games, stick with Splinter Cell. But if you're looking for a stealth cartoon, Metal Gear is for you."
Seriously.

This was a no-brainer because in the Metal Gear Saga Vol. 1, Kojima himself states that we will understand how Ocelot is being manipulated by Liquid's arm. And since Ocelot is in MGS4, so is Liquid. This was known along time ago.

SuicideNinja,
Metal gear solid is about as realistic as Super MArio, but that's not the point. Metal Gear Solid is some of the best interactive storytelling being made today. I thoroughly believe that any discussion of interactive art which does not include Hideo Kojima is sorely lacking.
The point of MEtal Gear is not to be realistic but to make the player a part of a story. I could care less what the plot of Splinter Cell games is. That's not to say that they're noit as fun just to say that they are very different and people should stop comparing them.
P.S. Solid Snake would kick Sam Fisher's ass, no problem.

I think an interesting manifestation of Liquid would be for him to be within Snake himself, trying to control Snake. That would be a nice twist, and possibly could be tied to the injections, but I'm pretty sure I'm wrong on this one.

I'm sick and tired of pseudogamers criticizing games like Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid as "overrated". Choke already or shoot yourselves.
Who cares about Sam Fisher anyway? And why would I want to play a game that has a world exactly like the one we live in? Isn't that reality for? I rather go out instead. Sounds like the argument "In Xbox 360, you can actually socialize through LIVE, PS3 SUXX0RZ LOLZ!!".
I choose living my social life outside, while living my fantasies inside, not the other way around.
Xbox 360, your system for living through the console. (Time to get excited!!!)
PS3, your system for living your impossible fantasies, not your life.
