I just hope it includes keyboard and mouse support. I do not really care if it is better than the pc or 360 editions.
Early games will not use all of the machines capacity anyway. The games definetly looks sweet.
dizz @ May 1st 2006 4:55PM
I hope it does not have keyboard and mouse support. if you want to play with a KB/M then buy a PC, if not then get used to the controller.
kev @ May 1st 2006 5:59PM
nothing will be able to destroy pc games for a while, ps3 may not even be able to outperform the xbox 360 version. but i guess that i'll have to wait until E3.

"I hope it does not have keyboard and mouse support."
But why would you not include keyboard and mouse? Leave it up to us to choose. Its not like its hard to implement.
PJ @ May 1st 2006 6:22PM
Destroy the 360 version? hehe...
My guess is they will look identical...
dizz @ May 2nd 2006 11:18AM
"But why would you not include keyboard and mouse? Leave it up to us to choose. Its not like its hard to implement."
Because if you include KB/M support then you are giving an advantage to people that use them over people that use the controller. its the reason halo 2 online is becoming dominated by people that use KB/M. if you want to play a game on the console then use the controller, if you want to use the keyboard and mouse then buy the damn game on PC.
Fan @ May 2nd 2006 1:19PM
Well dizz, people who use the controller can have their own servers. Is not brothers in arms much more of a single player game anyway?
dizz @ May 2nd 2006 3:01PM
Yea it is but i gurantee you that when you beat the single player, your ass will jump online just like everyone else.
Fan @ May 2nd 2006 3:49PM
As I do mostly play online games, except oblivion right now, im pretty sure I will.
But that does not change the fact the keyboard and mouse is superior as you stated. Solution is to let people with controllers play on their own servers like i said.
You cant be serious about dumping the best controller scheme so far because some people cant compete?
dizz @ May 2nd 2006 5:19PM
No not dumping it...you do have a choice, you can choose to buy the PC, XBOX 360 or PS3 version. if you buy the PS3 or xbox 360 then you should have to use a controller being its the standard control. if it was PC then you would most likely use a KB and M cuz its the standard. keyboards and mice are for computers there for you should not be able to use them on a console. which is why i like how MS does not allow the keyboard and mouse to be used in games, which the PS3 will probably follow. Keyboard = PC'S, controller = consoles...do you get the pattern?
Fan @ May 3rd 2006 5:32AM
Why should anyone dictate to me what kind of controller I prefer to use? If i want to choose the keyboard and mouse thats my perogative. I want to play the game on my PS3 and I want to use the I/O device of my choosing, why should I not be able to? Restricting the consumer is counter productive.
The only pattern I see here is your cookie cutter imagination. Why should I have to use something when there is a much better alternative? I see no reason and the ones you listed were debunked.
Fear @ May 3rd 2006 8:42AM
'should we assume the third time will be the charm and this title could excel, if not totally demolish, the PC and Xbox 360 installments?'
^ This just shows how dumb this blog site is.
Nothing will destroy the PC version of FPS. If you don't have a mouse and keyboard, the PC already demolishes the 360 and PS3 version. What with the mods, tweaking and more players available online too, PS3 can only dream to be as good as the PC version. I have trouble seeing how the PS3 version will 'demolish' the Xbox 360 version too.
I think this site is turning into a somewhat comedic parody sarcasm site? Demolish PC version... heheheHE, never laughed so hard in my life.
Fan @ May 3rd 2006 11:38AM
I agree with Fear. The PC version will probobly be the best.
But I was hoping to bring some of the PC magic to the Ps3 by allowing mouse and keyboard. I see no reason that the PC version should be the only one who gets mod love or tweaking goodness.
With the Ps3s integrated browser it should be easy to build a community around the game and with the hdd thats included modding should be allowed. I hope that Sony would not stand in the way of this should developers choose to pursue the idea. And they should IMO.
dizz @ May 3rd 2006 12:31PM
fan what you are missing is the fact that you can use a mouse and keyboard...on the PC. and i dont hear anyone complaining that GRAW, battlefield 2 and COD2 on the 360 does not support keyboard and mouse. i can almost gurantee you that it 360 and PS3 versions wont support it because it gives those people an advantage over people with controllers...which is a good thing.
mike @ May 4th 2006 6:19PM
awsome!!!!!! the trailer looked so good
