Silent Hill: Origins trailer goodness

This is the fist videogame trailer to actually disturb me. Freaky is an understatement. Anymore information would just spoil it.
Dig that trailer music, though.

This is one I've added to my "must buy" list.

I really like that song. Sounds like David Bowie on some drug.

Anyway, I really hope Origins does well. And that the barricade system is not tedious or forced.

Looks like I'm not the only one that thought that sounded like Bowie!

Thats definately a game I have to pick up. Awesome trailer. Looks like a combination of a Tool and NIN video with Bowie doing the vocals.

Wow that looks creepy! I love all the Silent Hill games (and apparantely I'm one of the few that loved the movie as well). Owning a PSP just got sweeter!

I have always been creeped out by Silent Hill. But that trailer just sucked in my opinion. The whole thing just felt like it was trying to hard....trying to hard to be as freaky and grotesque as the Silent Hill series.

I wanted to be scared, but that song made if feel like a joke.

I'd say that the song was most likely something created for the game, pretty much all the music used in the games is that way. Akira Yamaoka does the majority of this stuff.

The song is Hometown by Joe Romersa, the original version didn't have lyrics and was by Akira Yamaoka same name I think. All the music from the Silent Hill series is awesome, the best are from 3 and 4. As for the game, it looks sweet. Silent Hill FTW!
