Motorstorm footage hot from the oven

Just like grandma's delectable apple pie, News 4 Gamers has served up a piping hot video of the upcoming PS3 title Motorstorm. Combining an intro movie with a rather long gameplay segment, the video shows some of the collisions possible and furious action the title is sure to bring to the table upon release. The game even has slow-motion, Burnout-like crashes that show pieces you never even knew were in a dune buggy go flying through the air in stunning detail. Follow the link below to check out the video.

YAY! Game stuff!
Lookin' good. However, is it just me or did the playable section not look as good. Are they cheating with pre-rendered video in the intro? It's so much better when they don't do that.
Check out the lighting and the tires (they collect mud). Hopefully they improve the sand-kicking to look more like the intro.

This game doesnt look that great. They shouldnt have shown us that fake stuff from last year. Cause it this really lets your hopes down.

Yeah, why pre render anything? It only leads to a letdown for the games graphics. I couldn't even play conflict vietnam after i watched the prerendered cinematics, the game couldn't even compare.

Yeah, what we have here is a big downgrade from what I saw in the E3 trailer-- but I think the rigid chasecam is mostly to blame for that.
Chasecam is a tired artifact from an era of limited graphical capability. Put a LOT more emphasis on the driver perspective, add some reaction to the environment (i.e. head-bobbing from impacts), and you have what's a bit closer to the general public's original expectations of the game and next-gen in general.

Game looks good whats every body @itching about? I mean yeah the cut scenes use cinimatic shots and angles and its hard to keep that in a game with out distracting from the game play. I dont see the big difference from the CGI and the in game although the shot is a lil blurry.
