Screenshot roundup: Assassin's Creed
One of the most anticipated titles for the PS3, Assassin's Creed blew away E3 attendees little over a month ago. Well, it seems that Game Reactor has gotten their hands on more screens for the game and the title coming from Ubisoft's Montreal studio is shaping up to be another stellar offering. We knew it was going to be a game you should keep your eye on when we reported of its announcement a little before the show and things haven't changed since.

Let's keep this up. We can pretend the 3 Blunderteers (Kutaragi, Hirai, and Harrison) don't exist for a while.
This game is reminding me a lot of Oblivion without the ugly chicks.

And that's why I am starting to detest Nintendo, they engender stupidity.

On topic, this game looks sweet. This could be the most immersive game to date - you can move people aside as you walk through a crowded square, you inteact with objects like you would in the real world. When you touch a wall your hand actually flattens against it. Add that level of detail to Ubisoft's proven gameplay and you have a great game.

man, they better ship a Xbox 360 version of it!! We all know that more xbox fanboys buy Ubisoft games than ps fanboys.

"This game is reminding me a lot of Oblivion without the ugly chicks."
How exactly does Assassins Creed remind you of Oblivion? Is it the character creation? Is it the closing of burning gates to hell? Is it the use of speedtree as middleware? Is it the first person view? Is it the use of one hit kills? Is it because you can climb and grab onto almost anything? Maybe Bethesda is actually the team behind prince of persia? Is it the real setting in middleage Jerusalem? Is it the real time weapon switching??
I know! It must be the horsey!1 Omg ponies!

All of these shots appear in the official trailer, there is no way to tell if they come from the game (I highly doubt it).
