Raiden unplayable in Metal Gear Solid 4

You probably read that headline with a smile on your face. Even so, Kojima-san has revealed the infamous Raiden will not be a playable character in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. But he is going to be pretty integral to the overall narrative.He also goes into detail about the story. Nanotechnology, military strength, Senior Citizen Snake... it's all there.
Older characters will be making an appearance as well. Naomi Hunter, Campbell and even Meryl Silverburgh will be along for the ride. One of the best quotes is from when Kojima stated why he's even bothering with this new game when MGS3 was supposed to be his (and Snake's) last title: "I decided to make MGS4 because so many mysteries still remained, and I couldn't ignore all the people who had requested a new game." Thanks God. I still have nightmares playing with Raiden as a playable character, oh wait that happened.

Raiden looks pretty cool, except for the unnecessary high-heels thing he's got going on.
I want to see this game in action; maybe it could change my negative opinion on MGS altogether? I'm not counting on it, but maybe it could.
6 games for Snake (not including the Acid games) is probably enough.

Well i have played Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and 3 and i still want more games of this serie, so im really looking forward for Metal Gear Solid 4.

The high-heels thing is so he can grab his sword with his feet, so its not unnecessary but i agree its a little over the top.

Thank god, MGS2 was the worst game ever. Do you know he created Raiden because he surveyed a bunch of school girls? Hopefully he won't do something that stupid again, he must be losing it with his old age because those 2 MGS4 trailers look ugly. (Sup you green tint you!) With framerate issues.
But I just cling onto hope that it'll turn out good in the end!

Did
we even see the same trailers? Those two have to be the best ingame
trailers ive ever seen. Not once did I see any framerate issues. Please show me anything real-time that even
compares to this. My bet is that you cant. So STFU
