More magazine scans of GTA:VCS surface
Ever since Vice City Stories was first revealed, the magazine scans have been trickling in on a pretty regular basis. This week's victim of fanboy scanners is Games magazine. There are five new screenshots and a few new tidbits:- A new rocket launcher. (Was there anything wrong with the old rocket launcher?)
- NPC behavior is affected by time. So, you'll see clubbers at night, and bums at the break of dawn.
- Missions won't be point A to point B drives (although they were pretty good for on-the-go play).
- Expect water to play a much larger role in the game.

I liked the news about half-naked sexy girls better.
Well, actually I was *heavily* disappointed by Liberty City Stories.
San Andreas was the first of the "new" (read: 3D) GTA games I have played. And Liberty City Stories wasn't nearly as much fun. Not like I finished it or anything... and besides that, it looks like the pal had a million legs while moving, because they gave him black - of all colours! - trousers. The controls were going on my nerves from the first second and later the missions are IMHO too difficult, just because of how you're supposed to move that fat italian idiot. Perhaps Vice City Stories will be better. But I will definitely *not* buy it without having it tested before.

I agree that the visuals in GTA:VCS were marred by the seemingly PSP-ignorant color choices. Repeat after me, people: No R:0 G:0 B:0 !! There's other color choices that smear as well, but none so badly as solid black.
Anyone play Monster Hunter and pick their character colors based on how they didn't smear? I was going with black hair until I rotated the figure and saw my mistake. Light blue worked fine.
