Ubisoft's Blazing Angels coming to PS3 for launch
Perhaps making a clever subject line about PS3's "lift-off" or something would have been better. Oh well. The game is Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII and it initially was put on the XBox 360 and was later revealed to be a Nintendo Wii launch title as well. Ubisoft has gone on record and declared the game will also be a PS3 launch title. While there is certainly no dearth of WWII games on any console, this one at least tries to mix it up by throwing you in the air and commanding a squad of spunky fighter pilots. The game will hit PS3's in America and Europe at the same time. Launch. So, that's another surprise launch title out of nowhere. Even though it's a multi-platform release, it's still one to add to the list. If these games keep popping up, there's really a lot of hope for the Tokyo Game Show. Who knows what madness could be unveiled! Now is the time to tell everyone else... what would be the absolute craziest thing that could be revealed at TGS? What would completely knock your socks off? Go all out and yes, sarcasm is welcome.

A *good* game for the PS3 that i haven't already played on the xbox360 or my PC would be nice. I really want a reason to buy a PS3. It's all about the games in the end. Show us something that makes us have to go out and buy it. Show me something that makes me NEED to pre-order it. C'mon sony, show us why we should show you the money. And keep the non-gameplay cut scenes that always turn out to be fake to a minimum if you can.

"F.E.A.R is also a launch title!"
Things are getting bad if youre excited about those two being launch titles. Both can be found on the FLOP Xbox 360!

What will actually be interesting is when we can compare multiplatform games' reviews against each others console.
The Xbox versions of games have been superior to the PS2 versions of games for quite a while. Not by leaps and bounds per se, but generally better. Unfortunately, the Xbox's potential wasn't really used because it was overshadowed by the PS2's popularity. The question is, will the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 cause the switching of roles this generation? Will the extra power even matter?
Looks like I'll need another HDTV for side-by-side comparisons. Too bad the PS3 didn't keep the dual outs.
