If people aren't exposed and aware of the rating system and if the ESRB doesn't stop getting in trouble (Hot Coffee Mod, Oblivion getting changed from a T to M rating), then we might get a government enforced rating system. Would you rather have the government establish a standard rating system (which would probably coincide closer to the MPAA just for convenience), or keep the current system?
