Sony reveals screens of PSP-PS3 connectivity

I know you've all been waiting to see some hot PSP-PS3 prawn. And Sony Europe has finally come through by unveiling images of the two systems finally doing the deed during the Games Convention 2006 in Leipzig.
Does anyone else find the color choice of the systems interesting, too? It reminds me of a little PSP ad in Amsterdam that caused quite the stir not too long ago. Just look at the PSP's arm (see USB cable) clutching the throat of the cowering PS3. Yeah, you probably think I'm reaching, eh? Yeah well, I can almost feel the racial overtones emanating from the image like a hot pancake sitting on the frier.
Oh Sony, will you ever learn?

Yeah, actually. Unless you're kidding, this is about as (intentionally) racially inflammatory as a Double-Stuffed Oreo.
And here I thought we were getting some actual news about PS3/PSP connectivity function!

I hope, hope, hope Square-Enix is paying attention. Chocobo World w/ Final Fantasy VIII was the coolest thing ever to me. I'd really love to see something simular with Final Fantasy XIII.

What I find more amusing is that people here seem to be automatically inferring that this black PS3 'hooked up with' a white PSP represents a MALE-MALE coupling. Why couldn't the white PSP be seen as female?
I'm not even getting into the racial and homophobic elements of this. And before you say I already have, no! It was Chris! *points*

if i had a genie lamp i would i wish psp control of that mini metal gear in MGS4.
thats how you market games to women. my wife likes to watch me play, wouldn't it be great if she could make herself more useful me by finding me ammo and spying on the enemy.

the PSP and PS2 already have connectivity via USB through MGS3 and MGA, etc, so I'm not sure who didn't see this coming... enjoyable sarcasm in the post though
