Thanks to Andrew Yoon, resident blogger over at
PSPfanboy, we have been alerted to a certain "Cubetoon" from
IGN's Wii pages. This comic is against everything we here at PS3fanboy stand for and you know what? It's pretty darn funny. These comics will be added regularly to IGN's site as IGN Toons, since the GameCube and Wii-centric front clearly is not enough for these artists. You can also check out other of the comics at the official
Cubetoons website. We've always wondered what the work ethic behind Kutaragi and Hirai was like... apparently, it's "meh".

yeah it's funny and almost true. Sony is already screwing Europe. They won't see the ps3 in stores there until 07. Sony is having trouble already making these consoles for launch. Boy I want to buy one. Yeah right. It's all about the Wii. Wait for Nintendo to drop the bomb this 14th of September. Sony fans need to convert. Your company is screwing you and lying to you this round.

It's really toobad. I love the hardware Sony has put together, it's just beautiful and is, without a doubt, the most advanced console that has ever been put in the hands of the consumer.
However, Sony drastically overestimated their manufacturing power and have made a hole I don't think they can come from. I really want one, but I don't want to waste the money if it disappears. I hope Sony has some showing. The Wii will, most likely, be the top seller - which I think is dumb but whatever - but I hope Sony stays in the game, the more competitors we have, the better off the consumer will be. Those wishing for Sony's death are wishing for a huge blow to the industry. This console generation could very well reflect the video game industry for the next decade. This is bigger than Wii60 vs. PS3, the industry is fighting rising costs and is not gaining the critical acceptance it needs. Video games need something like "Cahiers du cinema" the influential French film magazine of the 50s to examine the aesthetic and artistic values of a relatively new medium (not to mention some of the greatest film directors of all time - Truffaut, Godard - came from that staff.
Anyway, I'm starting to ramble and the organization of that last "paragraph" was absurd, point is I hope this does not bode too ill for Sony because, if nothing else, I really want to play with something THAT powerful.

Well said, Brian. I think you deserve a star or two.
Anyway, I'm sick and tired of those Wii60 fans that bash Sony for being late when they weren't even interested in PS3 in the first place. Or is it that they are mad because they recognize the superiority in PS3 but they can't afford it? Poor people... Anyway, why criticize the delay of a product you didn't even want in the first place? Or why even wish Sony was dead when the industry would almost die if that happened?
