Want some Elveon? Don't look at the PS3... it has none

A little bit of confusion surrounding the upcoming title Elveon. Some were saying it was a multiplatform game, others saying it's not. The latter were right. It's confirmed as an XBox360 and PC title only. PR Manager Marcel Jung confirmed to PS3Land that the makers of Elveon currently have no titles in development for the PS3. Elveon is an action-epic using the Unreal Engine 3 and has been well received at last year's E3 and this year's Leipzig Games Convention. Hope this clears up any uncertainty. Was anyone even confused on this? It can be disorienting, since the XBox and XBox360 aren't exactly known to be friends with elves, er, RPGs. At least, not close and personal friends. Maybe the "see ya when I see ya" friends. A little news about Enchanted Arms soon, so keep checking with us!

How can you say that the Xbox 360 isn't exactly a fan of RPGs? Oblivion, Enchanted Arms, Fable 2, FFXI, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, ELVEON, Blue Dragon. These are just the ones that will be out in the coming months. I will give you that the original xbox was not rpg friendly, but Microsoft has changed this around for the 360. Not to mention Oblivion is one of the best rpgs of all time, and Mass Effect continually is getting praise as being a probably blockbuster rpg (as well as Elveon). They may not have franchises like Final Fantasy (the good FFs), but they are beginning to tap into some amazing new IPs. X360 is becoming a very well rounded console regarding game choice.

I dont know if someone wants a well rounded choice of games... chances are they'd go with a PS2 at this point, i mean 360/ps3/Wii are nice if ya want something new, but in terms of depth and breadth of choice of games... PS2 still has em beat.
But then yes, this site is a PS3 fanboy site. shots at 360 are to be expected... i mean haven't ya looked at the 360 fanboy site... i swear there's a PS3 story or 2 every day over there

Of course PS2 is the best choice right now if you're not into next gen stuff, but that's not what this whole thing is about. It's about shoehorning Xbox 360 into a racing-sports-FPS mold when that's not exactly true. Of course, each platform has a different focus, but right now Xbox 360 has a pretty well rounded library. Still lacking in some respects (platformers, for instance), but getting better - and gaining more support from Eastern developers - each day.
Speaking of Xbox 360 Fanboy, PS3 stories are relatively seldom there and people are generally lighter on competition bashing. Sure, important news like PS3's European launch delay get their share of attention, but that's to be expected.
