"Shocking" PS3 news
According to The Official PlayStation Magazine UK, the spiritual sequel to one of my favorite franchises, System Shock, is on its way to the PS3 in the form of the much anticipated BioShock. So, why all the excitement? TOPM UK sums it up best: "BiosShock is a first-person RPG that puts choice at the centre of its epic experience - think GTA: San Andreas meets Final Fantasy meets Kill Zone. Underwater."
Yeah, sign us up. The PS3 version is expected to hit early next year (and could be a European launch title).

YAY! Now I can play the same game that is coming out for the 360 for about $200 more.
This is good news for PS3 only owners. Bioshock looks very promising.
Cheers!

GTA: San Andreas meets Final Fantasy meets Kill Zone? And no mention of Spyro the Dragon?

FPS are much better enjoyed with a proper controller (360 wireless)

System Shock was amazing. And for the longest time, it was said that BioShock would be X360 only. This is great news. Helps a fanboy handle the wait.

hmmmmm... well I really REALLY hope that they're not planning a unified release date for all platforms... because... it's Irrational Games. I love irrational, because everything they release is a gift from god.
But full cross platform releases are always problematic, if not complete disasters, and I'd hate to see this potential masterpiece come out incomplete just cuz take two got greedy.
Also... how many playstation fans ever played or even heard of system shock? let alone Bioshock?

butterball dont you mean FPS are better witht he proper controls (Mouse and Keyboard)? heh heh.
Actually Deth if price is an issue to ya... i'd stay away from next gen entirely, what with 60 dollar games 300-600 dollar consoles, 50 dollar controllers.
It's nice price friendly.
I'd stay stick with the original xbox ps2 and GC, but the GC doesnt have much to look forward too and the box is dead in the water. at least with PS2 they got some pretty good releases throughout the rest of the year and next year.
and those prices are much more affordable!

Just like Assasin's Creed eh? BTW it was never 360 only, it was always coming out for the PC to which is what I'll be buying it on.
