ROFL! WHO ON EARTH will play a GOLF GAME on his PSP when he is actually on a GOLF COURSE?
I can't believe that some developers are so insanely stupid.
ronturon @ Sep 22nd 2006 3:57AM
that's the only thing we can use the GPS on MGS? locate other MGS players? there's got to be more than that.
at least i hope.

I am really excited about the GPS. I have wanted one but have been needing a little extra push. Thanks Sony!

not a gps kinda guy but for people that are..very cool and cheap

More excited about the camera. I hope the file format is going to be a common one. Sony is annoying about making dead ends in their hardware.

Camera seems stupid when 90% of people have cameraphones.....
Silver R. Wolfe @ Sep 22nd 2006 11:03AM
The GPS seems pretty nifty. Hopefully more games take advantage of that feature. It would be great to see all the other PSP players in the area.

Is there any word on these actually coming to the states? Well, not the camera but the GPS I might actually buy.
phlyzik @ Sep 22nd 2006 11:23AM
how many mega pixels is the camera? no quote on the price so far?
PseudoChron @ Sep 22nd 2006 11:11AM
They should have an optional flash accessory that attaches to the camera. Without a flash, the camera's just a toy not meant for taking even half-decent photos.

What I would really like to see in this camera is an augmented reality FPS game. The camera looks outwards and you aim the psp at targets generated to look as if they are in the room with you, even other PSP players for some laser tag.

I hope GPS comes out with good nav software. There's nothing like using my PSP as a GPS and saying screw it to buying a Garmin.

it's 1.3 megapixel, and i'm getting one if they come with a voIP software
Richard @ Sep 22nd 2006 5:42PM
Hopefully firmware 3.0 will have the voIP and camera software built in
flyers241 @ Sep 22nd 2006 5:49PM
now how're are those things going to fit in a PSP sock or other case? i hope they come with a separate case because i wouldn't want the lens getting scratched up in my pocket.
