Will SEGA allow PS3 gamers to download their library?
Well, Sega is awesome. Sega is also putting up their entire gaming library up for grabs on the Nintendo Would any of you guys take advantage of the Sega library? Just a ballpark shot in the dark guesstimation, let's say Master System games were $3, Genesis $5, Saturn $7 (this is assuming they go all out and include every system). Oh, and Dreamcast... $10. But I don't count the Dreamcast as dead. Because it's turned on right now, loaded with the port of Elemental Gimmick Gear. Pretty bad translation in that game... but mind-numbingly fun.

Sega is NOT putting up their entire gaming library up for grabs on the Nintendo Wii, for now it's only select Genesis titles. I expect the same to be the case with PS3 if Sony and Sega successfully negotiate the deal.

I have 2 things to say...
First of all... I hope so cause vectorman was the bomb!!
Second of all(i know this is way off topic but i need somewhere to vent it and Doeer im hoping you can answer)...
Why did Joysiqs coverage of TGS blow a$$??!?? If you look at all the tgs posts they only had one post saying something positive about the PS3... and that was Ridge Racer. They said DMC4 and Coded Arms both sucked(although you did comeback with a post for DMC) and they had about 5 different posts about Kens speech and how bad it was. Where were the posts forHeavenly Sword, FFXIII, Resistance:FOM, and Lair?? And why they listed the Best in Show list they said Sony, MS, and Nintendo all won... But Sony had 7 of the 11 winning titles.. i dont really think thats all 3 of them winning...
How can a site claim to be non-biased and yet drop the ball on such a big event?? I guess im not really mad... just sad =(
ps sorry for the off topic post

I don't consider any of Sega's Systems dead, I have the Genesis, Game Gear, Sega CD, Sega Saturn, and Dreamcast all still hooked up and I play them regularly. But if they are able to be upscaled to HD, then I'm all for it! Yay, Saturn and Dreamcast games in HD! *Hopes*

@ Rich -- I wish I could give you an answer about Joystiq's coverage, but I'll admit: our coverage wasn't too great either. Even so, I do agree that focusing on a boring "keynote" lecture is kind of annoying. Not only does it have no impact over the way a PS3 game will play, it's pretty much a given. If someone is going to lecture for over an hour and show bits of video, unless he's dressed like a ninja and fighting pirates all the while, it's going to be boring. Focusing on that as a negative for Sony is pretty amateur, so we avoided discussing it. If you want a ton of flowery news from TGS, IGN.com did all right. They're normally very positive. Anyway, back to studying Corporate Finance...

Makes me wonder if Sega is just going to give out all their Genesis titles to every console.
