A little bit o' info... lots of pictures of the PS3! [update 1]
Leave it to the Famitsu website to put up the largest and most gorgeous display of PS3 pictures on the web. Since the website is riddled with question marks, we'll do our best to translate anything we can.- The 60GB model has an amazingly cool silver finish around the disc-loading panel. Works horizontally or vertically!
- The power/reset button isn't a button at all. It's more of a heat sensor that reacts to your fingertip's temperature. So if you're really cold, sorry, you can't play. Just kidding, you can still play. Playing is great.
- Famitsu claims the SIXAXIS controller feels securely lighter without the rumble weights.
- The shoulder buttons (last picture on the page, SIXAXIS is on the right) have a smaller profile, but seem more... well, at least in the L2/R2 case, spring loaded a la Dreamcast shoulder buttons. They seem, they probably aren't. It just reminded me of the DC Controller.
[update: changed LCD to LED... thanks for making me look like a fool, Andir. Just kidding. Thanks.]

These pictures make me want to buy one right now. PS3 rocks.

Hmm, I wonder if the change in the shoulder buttons means that they are now pressure sensitive..
That would be pretty sweet

@ Chris Clark -- that's a very good hypothesis. They did it with the regular buttons for games like MGS3 and such... I don't see why not. Sounds very close to something possible.

@ Andir2.0 -- right, right right. LED. The letters are kinda close together! Bah. Apologies for the brain fart.

to reguy..
Nah it aint you.. Hard-wired networks preform much better than WiFi..
Too many things can interfere with WiFi, esp cordless phones, maybe its better with the newer WiFi specs but there still other things that can, maybe not hault your WiFi connection, but sure can slow it down..
So Im kinda depressed with the Wiis news of no built in Enet..

WiFi connections are 54 Mbps for 802.11g, which is pretty much what everyone uses nowadays, unless your router is old.
What this basically means is that your wireless network at its peak will still be about 8 times faster than even the fastest cable/DSL connection you can get.
So it really doesn't make a difference between WiFi and Ethernet. Ethernet is technically 100 Mbps, but no one has an Internet speed that can approach that.
For online gaming, you won't notice a speed difference between either, unless you're getting EXTREME interference. In which case, you probably wouldn't even be able to connect.
There are houses that do have really bad interference though. One of my college bud's old dorms had some sort of nasty interference that knocked out his 802.11g router, so he had to use a wired connection.
I'd prefer WiFi, just because my router is nowhere near my TV... but some people are able to use Ethernet.
If you're that worried about wireless interference (you shouldn't, unless you're in a unique situation like the aforementioned dorm), then go with the Ethernet cable.
As for those of us whom are also getting a Wii.. well, that's kind of brown on Nintendo's part.
Oh well.

And I'm slightly buzzed right now, so ignore any generalizations and errors that post may have. It should have none. Hope it's helpful.
