Games to download onto your PS3 revealed!

The forums over at NeoGAF are a-buzz with some recently acquired screens and info on the downloadable games for the PS3, most likely available upon its November launch. Let's check out what they've got up their sleeves (and trust us, they are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, fun... and, uh, gorgeous?):

  • Blast Factor: Sony's (well, Bluepoint Games') overwhelming, far cooler-looking answer to XBL's Geometry Wars. Arcade space shooter action in 1080p with full SIXAXIS support -- use the controller to move the floating cells around the play area, but some may not react as planned... also of note, self-adjusting difficulty depending on how badass you are at blasting evil cells. Just look at those crisp screens! Who needs other launch titles?
  • fl0w: Another 1080p madhouse! This time, imagine a version of Snake where you not only eat other organisms, but grow and evolve! You can upload your critter onto the global network and see how everyone else is coming along with their nasty little buddy.
  • Go Sudoku: Pretty self-explanatory. Sudoku, but the go means frantic, or rushed. So... do Sudoku quickly. Go!
  • Lemmings 2: Direct your little suicidal/fearless buddies in a multitude of tasks to get them where they need to go.
  • Swizzleblocks: Your guess is as good as ours. If swizzle is like "sweet", then we imagine a game that lets you create blocks of candy which the PS3 magically manifests for you to enjoy. Not really, but that'd be a great selling point, Sony!
What do you guys think? Out of all of those, this blogger's vote goes to Blast Factor. Always was an Asteroids fan, not to mention Gradius and R-type. What will you guys be downloading on launch day, or will you go straight into those "real" launch titles?

[thanks to everyone who sent this in!]
