GTA IV to deliver content to the PS3 as well as 360 [update 1]
Now, the XBox crowd were all grins and giggles when they heard that Grand Theft Auto IV would come with additional downloadable content exclusive only to their precious XBox 360. The content was promised to be epic episodic content with hours of additional play. Now... it seems the PS3 is also getting "exclusive" downloadable episodes with equivalent promises.Don't get into a hissy fit, any of you! The downloadable content is rumored to be independant and unique to each platform (for now, anyway), so each side of the "console war" can still have their satisfaction of knowing that "those darned [insert console here] supporters aren't playing these episodes of GTA4!" Soon enough though, we believe that each system will have one another's content up for grabs, but one will get certain episodes before the other (think Resident Evil 4 for GameCube, then PS2 later... but on a smaller scale). In any case, good news for everyone really, because it means more things to do when we get our hands on Grand Theft Auto IV next October.

Rockstar was smart. They charged each company extra for "exclusive" content. Now both companies don't have any advantage over the other, but Rockstar has a bunch of extra money. Smart.
The only way any of this will make a differnce, is if only one of the consoles extra content features a HD "hot coffee" mode. And we all know that ain't gonna happen.

this is a cool thou. putting the hard drive to some great use thou i have a feeling we may to get more hard drives :/

What a great rumor to start. Another way to slow sales for the 360? Bravo again Sony. This ones right up there with a spring launch (How the hell did someone believe ANY console would launch at the beginning of summer is beyond me...)

Oh, I see. That's fine. It's not that PS3 player are playing the same content as me...it's that I thought Rockstar took the blood money and still posted the content.
So, what to think of Rockstar after this? Do they want us to buy both versions?
