MotorStorm given a delayed start in Japan

While this may initially seem like heartbreaking news, fear not, noble motor stormers. Japan did get a delay for MotorStorm, but it's only a week. Instead of a 12/7 release, Japanese gamers will get the game on 12/14. No biggie. The reasoning for this delay isn't exactly clear, Sony citing "production-related concerns". But IGN may be on to something when they said Sony wants December to be a big time for releases. MotorStorm now pops up on shelves next to Armored Core 4 -- two great games at once, oh my! While Japan still gets MotorStorm first, they'll miss out on online play for a little while. Until everyone else gets it. That's all, really. I played MotorStorm in a Target last week and, while just a demo, it was sweet. Easy to get the hang of. I had to stop racing at one point just to check out the scenery of the canyon. I'm excited. Are you?

I cant wait to get this game. I wish it was coming out a lot sooner tho, i was hoping to get it as a launch date game but was sadly disappointed to find out it wasnt.
so far (other than fall of man) the software end of the ps3 is really lacking. i already have 3 games and im having a hard time finding another decent game to buy. i cant wait untill december !!!
oh and can anyone tell me when burnout 5 is coming out?? i cant find a release date and i thought it's supposed to be out before 07'

The demo on the PS3 is great. I show it off to everyone who checks out the PS3. Can't believe Nirvana is on the soundtrack (!)

I was really into this game back when they released that trailer that looked so amazing it made me want to cry.
After finding out that we were lied to and it looks pretty average I doubt I'll get it.

Yeah, with the fact that the Demo isn't even final gameplay, it still amazes people that walk by when your playing it. I feel like such a dork at age 28 standing in front of a kiosk playing games, but I can't help it!
Now if I can only convince people to old off buying their PS3 until I get one, I'd be set.

I was really excited about Motorstorm but after playing it at Target the luster wore off. I'll probably get it once it becomes a greatest hit but not when it is full price. Now, where's news on Fatal Inertia and Wipeout Next?

I am eagerly waiting for this game. The demo´s speed was bit of lacking, but the overall feeling of the cars and bikes controls was really good. Not that I heard the speed has been revised there really is nothing stopping me from buying this game come 14th. Crashes look outrageous with the parts flying. Sometimes after a really good crash you just pause the game and zoom around.
Everyone who doesn´t like this game should definitely giver it at least a few more tries. Go to the demo kiosk or go to your lucky friends house. After a few races I know you´ll love it.
P.S. Import the game if you want to try it before March...

I've played the Motorstorm demo and felt that the vehicles/dirtbikes seem to float around. It just seems very disconnected while playing it. By disconnected, I mean you should feel some rumbling driving/riding across the desert feeling all the bumps and jumps. And with the floating feeling, this game just don't seems right.

I play this all the time at Target, i mainly race the trucks with the motion sensing, the bikes are a bit touchy for it, but this last week i played one that had all the setting for everything at 480p, i nearly cryed at how horrible it looked, but it did play a bit faster.

I caught the demo and some hands-on time at Best Buy and was a little disappointed compared to the videos I remember watching from E3. It just seemed ordinary. For some reason I thought it would really blow me away, and it didn't. The video originally did. Maybe the final game will be better.

anyone who says this game doesnt look good is either retarded or just a lying ahole. i just d/l the demo for my ps3 and the graphics are amazing.
its a very fun game with very good graphics!!
