Fake blog admits it was "too funky fresh"

It looks like the now-infamous Sony blog, "all i want for christmas is a psp," is going to keep it real. Shockingly, the blog writer "isn't a real hip-hop maven." The apology states that the blog will now be used to give "nothing but the facts" on the PSP, but we're sorry, Sony. No way you're going to compete with us!

Now that you've caught us lying, trust that we'll tell the truth! Or, in the words of Gothic 3 "Trust me, oh Son of Distrustfulness"
I love my PSP, but Sony deserves to have it die a terrible death for their behaviour!

I have to say, that site/blog pretty much sucks.

Jerks!! It's bad enough that Im constantly under fire by Ninny fanboys over my support for Sony. Now Sony goes and pulls some shh like this?!! I mean c'mon.. look at all the self-inflicted bad press that's been feeding the frenzy of Sony-bashers. You guys are not making this easy for us, Sony. Fanboys have integrity too!

Theres no such thing as bad publicity. Creating a fake blog, then having the entire blogosphere up in arms once they "discover" that its a corporate site... thats pretty clever Sony. Not really the best way to raise PSP awareness, but it did the trick.

I never bought the "any publicity is good publicity" thing, especially when its for a product or company that is already seen in a negative light by most gamers now adays.
