Amazon to randomly sell some PS3s!
After weeks of getting the cold shoulder from Sony, Amazon.com is finally getting ready to sell some of the uber-rare consoles... in both 20 and 60-gig configurations. And there's a catch. The PS3s will be sold to a random sub-set of people who register for the opportunity to buy one. Registration ends Sunday, December 17 at 11:59 PST. The lucky Here's the fine print:
- Your Amazon.com account must have been created no later than 11:59 p.m. (Pacific time) on December 11, 2006.
- You need an authorized credit card on your account.
- The claim codes will be distributed only to randomly selected customers.
[Thanks Layne]

The funny thing is, you have higher chance of randomly winning one than getting one in a store.
