Get your WarDevil terminology straight

Anyway, some of you may remember a technical demo from E3 2006 called "WarDevil: Enigma" -- this is going to be used to introduce characters and is the version that will be used at shows, like E3 and TGS. Not sure what this means... are they creating two versions of the game? One that they can use at shows, using specifically created demo maps and then the other version is the "true" game? Hmm.
There was also something called "WarDevil Unleash the Beast Within" shown at the Tokyo Game Show back in 2005. That's going to be a companion to the "Enigma" showings, along with a feature film. Geez. Whatever this mysterious WarDevil turns out to be, it's got a lot of crap backing it up. Best of all for now, it's a PS3 exclusive. We'll keep you up to date as details pop up.

If this engine is real-time, the Beast within stuff looks way better then the Enigma stuff. If you've ever watched the RTE1080 Unveiled Demo, the Enigma stuff looks like it's missing all the Particles and FX they mention. The textures look awesome as does the geometry and animation but I can't help but wonder if the engine will truly translate on the PS3 and at HD resolution 60FPS. If so, then in my opinion the Killzone trailer is totally plausible on PS3. I mean this easily looks as good to me.
