Loco Roco sequel confirmed
Sony Computer Entertainment President Phil Harrison recently spoke to MTV News, and made a startling revelation about the PSP exclusive LocoRoco. "It was a very successful game for us and we're continuing to evolve the franchise," he said. "We're going to bring 'LocoRoco' back in a couple of new ways with some new friends in the future."
LocoRoco and Friends. Sounds like a sequel to me. Considering how many new levels the development team has created for the holidays, it seems like there's still a lot more LocoRoco to come.

If they don't use the SIXAXIS controller's motion sensing for this, someone at SCE needs to be kicked in the balls. Hard.

Jason, I thought the exact same thing.
My Girlfriend LOVES this game. Was kind of glad when she beat it because then she stopped ignoring me all the time. She'll be stoked to hear the news!
(oh, and I like it too! I just feel kind of silly playing it on the bus)

This is awesome news. I was (am) a bit worried that the stories about poor sales would sink any hope for a sequel.

This is great news. I bought the first one when it came out in North America and I'm still playing it. I think I have around 50 or so hours in the game now.
I hope the sequel is going to come out on the PSP.

Wow Locoroco 2 would be cool. They should make one for ps3 too so you could tilt the controller to move the ground like jason said. Also I hope they add new feature like creating your one locoroco character.
I hope they make them 3d then they'd look more like blobs! On the bad part though it would mean more demos!! Sony should also release more demos other than Locoroco.

Great to hear this. Though I think the motion directed gameplay would be really interesting for it if it goes to PS3.

they've done homebrew SIXAXIS for the ds and psp on the usb port. they must just make an official one for the psp and make SIXAXIS an option in the game. mercury meltdown would also be soooo cool with SIXAXIS.
