We called it: Virtua Fighter 5 US/Europe release dates
Are your fingers itching for some of that mad fighting-game action? Were you planning on snagging the Japanese version of Virtua Fighter 5 because we weren't too sure when the North American or European versions were being released? Worry not, we've got it covered. IGN recently slapped up the release dates as given by Sega and you know what? Our guess was practically perfect. We said that the title would be released around the European launch and, well, that's true. The game is slated for a late February (the 20th) release for North America and will be a launch title for Europe. It's good to be completely and utterly correct. This news comes directly from Sega of Europe, remember, so the launch title mumbo-jumbo should be taken as fact, not as speculation. Excuse us while we do a victory dance in celebration of guessing the release dates.

It's going to kick ass. Looking forward to some 62" 1080p fighting!!!

This game is going to be great.. but Sega really should give this game a new story, give the characters some better voices (US), and I hope there're some new stages, and this isn't just an update of VF4. It's good that it's the first of the traditional fighting games on the ps3.
