Firmware 1.32 is now here! Uh... what's new?

Well, we've all downloaded it by now, but for goodness sake, Sony, why don't you stay on top of the update content so we know what we're getting? The Japanese PS3 site is pretty good at upping the info ASAP, but the US page has vanished completely. Anywho, taken from the Japanese site, the update consists of the following:- Network performance of the system software was strengthened
Wow! Well, there you go. What "strengthened" entails is anybody's guess, but we assume it keeps that internet connection locked in a little better. Either that or it processes your internet-based queries faster. Maybe both! If you notice anything substantial, let us know.

I've had problems losing connection during gameplay of madden, so i hope this helps. Im sure they aren't all quiting as i beat em.

Downloaded last night while playing Fall of Man,R and I've also been having fun with neighbors free wireless access. It was doing about 23% connectivity before dl but after it went up to 64% .. maybe its just me but hey..thanks.

does Sony have a Major Nelson to keep everybody up to speed about all Sony community goings-on? If not, they'd better get one quick. It would be nice for current PS3 owners to know exactly what they're getting in this update. In a connected world, up to date information is vital to keeping people happy. I'd like to get a PS3 once the games improve, but if there's no pipeline of information, i don't see why i wouldn't just stick with my 360.

Was the camera set up in settings already there in 1.31? Not having a camera, I didn't pay much attention.
Hopefully this means my downloads on the PS Store won't time-out as much. More content please! Hell, more HD trailers of stuff would do it. Only 7 movie trailers is a joke. It shouldn't have to be Sony/Blu-Ray supporting studios either.

On a few screens, like the one that comes up to confirm quitting a game, the text is slightly larger! Now if only they would do it throughout. They need a graphic designer over there - badly!

Seriously though, I hate my PS3. It is a cheap BD player, but I would have rather waited for the prices to go down first.
Anyone want to buy my PS3? Only really good game is Resistence: FOM. And that gets tired real fast.

Your so right Sony is missing out on the human factor... tell us about the upadates make it a big deal... I think they are in damage control mode right now... But they got to pay some more people to get stuff done I think they must have cut some people from the till recently... or they are just so disorganized ... who knows... the whole PS3 deal i so boring now.... they got to create some excitement..
