Warhammer Online marching onto consoles?
Over at EA Mythic, there's a job opening. Not just any job, mind you, but a slot for a producer. The producer's job is to move Warhammer Online to consoles, or so we assume. Other job advertisements seem to further the idea that Warhammer is turning towards consoles -- Microtransaction Engineer? AI Engineer (for next-gen consoles)? It seems likely, but perhaps there's simply another game in the works. Then again, why wouldn't more MMO's hop onto the now-gen consoles? Heh, we said "now-gen" since technically the next-gen is now... what with all consoles released. Anyway, we've (read: I've) never played the Warhammer Online, so if any of you have, feel free to leave a loving memory of the game and give us your thoughts on if it would survive the transition to consoles.

I am not that big a fan of EA games but seeing as it is a EA game I could really see this game on the PS3 and 360. EA loves money so why not bring this game out on the PS3. I also do not have that much hope that this game will be any good EA has not been making really great games as of lately.
I do think that if this is true I think this will be good news for the PS3. Plus seeing as the PS3 allows a keyboard and mouse it makes perfect sense to bring this out on the PS3.
I really want to see MMOs on the PS3 so this is great to see one in the works. Now I want to see Sony Online Entertainment make an Ever Quest game over Untold Legends. Plus there are other MMOs they have made so it would be cool to see them on the PS3.

Not now-gen, it's called current-gen.
