Short Review
Not Recommended. Tekken 2 unfortunately shows its age. There's a great deal of gameplay to be discovered in this treasured arcade classic, but the advances made by Tekken: Dark Resurrection are so significant that it's difficult to appreciate the technical shortcomings of Tekken 2. Gamers will have to choose if they'd rather spend $6 for a great classic game, or $40 for an even better modern one.

O rly? Wow. I really wasn't expecting that. You do know PSOne games DO have worse graphics right? Plus Tekken 2 is a classic for its time. I'd give it at least a 6.5 or 7.0 because graphics dont matter as long as the game is fun.

But when there's already a game for the PSP that is all around better than Tekken 2, it kinda defeats the purpose of playing Tekken 2, other than for the nostalgia.

Do you guys realize that these games are like 10 years old? What is the point reviewing them...or review more lightly.

Just because the game was released 10 years ago, doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a review. Any game that carries a pricetag deserves a review. What if the PSP's controls make a game that was highly reviewed 10 years ago totally unplayable? There's $6 out the window.
I think it's a great idea to release these games for the PSP. I'm just waiting for a way to buy the games directly from the PSP without the need for a PS3 or a Windows PC.

wtf do you know, 5.5? What are you basing the review on, and why compare it to DR? You've said the price for both of them, fans of tekken2 might use this as an opportunity to play again if they cant atm. Unless the controls are totally fucked (T5:DR was playable at least to some extent) theres no reason for this 5.5 shit. K
