GripShift and Jumping Flash available on the PSN!

Well, seems they changed something in the PlayStation Store after a good friend and my 3 A.M. Resistance bout ended. What's so different? No, not the logo... it's not the color of the store, either... oh my goodness! Two more games to enjoy! The elation is not unwarranted -- one is a fairly celebrated PSP cross-genre title, GripShift, and the other is long celebrated as the very first fully 3-D platformer (and consisting of a robotic rabbit aptly named Robbit), Jumping Flash.

The demo for GripShift is free -- so we're currently downloading it now to try it out. Feel free to leave any feedback you may have for the title here. Also feel free to talk about how much, or how little, Jumping Flash has aged since its original inception. Good stuff, Sony! Keep cranking out these downloadable titles and we'll have a sufficient online library of games in no time at all.

I remember getting my original playstation and it came with a bunch of demo discs. Most were pretty lame but one stood out it was the first level of a game about a Robot Rabbit "Jumping Flash" i had almost completely forgot about this demo until i heard it was going to be a download release. Memories of that demo came flying back and i remeber just jumping around not really knowing what to do but at the time it was new and completely different. I vaguely remeber zipping around on rainbow looking slides and jumping extremely high and looking down as gravity pulled me back. Good times.

Is anyone else having trouble with the PSN store?? For some reason when I click on GripShift, It say's no items are availible on your account. What the H3LL does that mean?? I NEVER had this happen before. Can any advise if the are having a similar problem?? The screen shots look REALLY GOOD!!

i remmber JF just the same way. the cute game you thought was a lot of moped fun but didn't want to waste your wipeout, warhawk, or x-games money on. as a $6 psp download, i may finally get around to get playing it.

I must admit that Sony has done a fairly good job with thier online store by stocking it with gigs of free content.

Yes please keep cranking out free playable demos...I cant wait for Gran Tourismo.The demo is amazing looking and better still the gameplay is nothing short of perfection.

The online store download speed is amazing as well.I love it.How do they upload so fast?The demos are huge files.

Sony Online Store=****1/2 out of ***** in my opinion

BTW, I am widely known as a Sony hater, but Jumping Flash is one of my fonder memories of the old PS1.

Oh damn X-games. That was also the shit, many days were spent biking, luging, blading and skating down the hill splitscreen with my buds. Ahh the memories.

What's going on with this? I'm on the Playstation store right now, and cannot get it. It's on the title menu, but when you click it, it says there is nothing available for this account. What's going on???

Fianlly someone out there can see what's going on here. I have tries ALL DAY to DL this AWSOME game and it won't let me!! Has anyone heard about this problem other that #10 and myself?? This SUCKS MAN!!!

Are you serious? The store has very little good content unless you want to stock a psp. The updated GTHD isn't released for the us still. The movie trailers are even sparse! The dl speed also blows compared to XBL. Honestly, I can't believe you think their store is so great - the navigation of it alone makes me want to pull my hair out. I won't even count the issue with the lack of multitasking - oh wait, that blows too much to ignore. I like the ps3 and have fun with it, but sure won't say something like the store is great.

the 360 took more then 5 months to get multi tasking. and the PS3 will have it in march. not sure exactly how long it took 360 to get it. i just know its some time after march cause thats when i got it.plus there is plenty of PS3 demos. i have like 10 on my PS3 and them alot except genji.

the 360 received that upgrade in spring. guess what... when people were complaining about it on the 360 last november... sony should have taken notice at the same time as microsoft. only in the world of video game consoles does it matter when your console came out. you don't see any other industry where they can neglect the features a competitor has out on the market just because they're product launched later.
