Want to join a corporate-sponsored PS3 tournament team?

fragdolls

In a semi-clever marketing move, SplitFish Gameware is offfering selected PS3 gamers the opportunity to join their corporate-sponsored online tourney team (sort of like the Fragdolls, but not).

"SplitFish is looking for a team to represent the company in online play and PS3 tournaments through 2007. Each member of the PS3 tournament team would be considered a SplitFish goodwill ambassador." Aww, that's sweet.

More important than representing the corporate shills is all the free stuff you'll get. If chosen, look forward to a free PS3, a year of free Internet service, some clothes, games and a number of less appealing goodies. Not a bad deal... if your good enough for the cutthroats at SplitFish. The catch? You'll have to put some effort into this.

North American gamers that are at least 16 can apply via gamer@splitfish.com and should include:
  • Name/Gaming Handle
  • Age
  • State or Province
  • Years playing PS2 Games
  • Favorite PS2 game(s) and game style
  • Best Score and/or list games they have beaten.
  • Hours spent per week on console game play and/or internet use.
  • A short paragraph on why you should be chosen.
  • 5 good answers to the question: "So, you're a Splitfish gamer? Do you have no shame?"
You might want to ignore that last bullet if you apply.
