Lord of the Rings: The White Council has been adjourned forever

Executive producer Steve Gray was let go from Electronic Arts and with him the game Lord of the Rings: The White Council. When I first read the line "Producer Gray Let Go", I fell into a nerdism and thought it said "Producer the Gray let go"... if you understand the joke, you love Lord of the Rings too. It was silly.

Anyway, it's still a rumor because of PS3Fanboy's rule of thumb: the source remains nameless and the website isn't very well known (at least, to us). It may be a ploy to increase traffic, but in this case there's mention of a head of staff being let go. That's important and easy to trace. So until further notice, we're also going to chime in and say that Lord of the Rings: The White Council is currently suspended in production and will probably remain that way. Doerr the White, out.
