EGM's Rumor Mill hints at more Square Enix love

An IGN Boards member, canedaddy, got his hands on the latest issue of EGM, and found something of interest to PSP fans. The Rumor Mill supposedly states that Square Enix is bringing over even more support to our favorite handheld: "Square Enix is whipping up a wild lineup for PSP this year ... These guys are serious too! I'm talking new games, remakes of old classics, and an all-new, unexpected Final Fantasy spinoff that will make the fanboys flip."We know that Square is bringing over Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core and Final Fantasy Tactics to the PSP. What other surprises might they have in store for us? Let the speculation begin.

The rumor is for a second handheld sequel to Kingdom Hearts.

Wished for a FF title, a traditional-type one. And not a pansy KH. Give me a more mature plot, and i'll buy another title of the saga since the first one. Imagine a FFvii remake on the psp, using Crisis Core graphics, hun? farfetched dream...

Well there was a third FFXIII game but it was planed for a phone. Maybe it will not come out on a cell phone any more then it will be a PSP game.
Rumors of Kingdom Hearts with Riku as the main Character. So if that is true I think that would be pretty neat.
May be a remake of Chrono Trigger. May be a Mana game
I would love to see a remake of Parasite Eve and have it have both the first and second one.
It could be a new Threads of Fate game. Vagrant Story would also be a cool one to play on the PSP.
Xenogears there are lots and lots of great clasics games from Square before they became Sqaure Enix.
Drakengard, Mushashi Samurai, Star Ocean you name it Sqaure Made it.
Plus Dragon Quest could have a spin off but Parasite Eve or Chrono Trigger 2 is the games I would want SE to make.

Give me crono trigger!!!!! honestly i thought square had forget the psp. the ds has like a zillion SE titles! Pesonally id love an updated version of FF7 but i heard that its coming to the ps3......i'll be happy with anything that has FF in its name(as long as its not FF pinball)

Dude, a KH for the PSP!? OH YEAH!! Added to these rumors, I've read over at IGN that Squeenix is also remaking the original two FF's for the PSP. BOOYAH! I can't wait!!
On a side note, Valkyrie Profile was made by Squeenix and was ported on the PSP. Which means they haven't COMPLETELY forgotten it.
