All right, let's get some PS3Fanboy Resistance started!
We here at PS3Fanboy finally feel as if we've gotten enough practice to hold our own in a match to the death (well, multiple deaths) on Resistance: Fall of Man. We're of course talking about creating a party game of sorts where we can all meet up, do a little chatting, do a lot of killing and overall make NDoerrFans look like a complete fool at FPS titles (which he totally is, smiley face). There's a problem, though. We need your help! Since we're already starting this idea up in the middle of the week, sorta kinda, we'd like to know what day you guys can regularly meet up and annihilate one another. Personally, I'm available practically every day after 6PM, so whatever day you all choose, I'd gladly be around to form a game. Anywho, the poll below allows you to vote once every week, so make sure you know what you're doing next Sunday-Saturday. We'll start putting this up every Saturday from now on (and increase the breadth of titles it can apply to), so... bah, you get the idea. Vote away, PS3Fans!

Oops! I meant 6PM EST. And I don't have a headset, but there's textchat between matches. *shrug* Anyway, lots of votes for not having R:FoM... maybe I should really sign up for Gamefly (can't pony up $60 every day =P )
Oh, and my ID is NDoerrFans. I'll do my best to add anyone who tosses their ID as well.

I voted for Thursday, but really Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday work good for me.
In the evenings also work better also after 9:00 pm CST. But I am pretty flexible.
Anyone who wants to add me feel free. Just in the notes say you got my name from PS3FanBoy, so I do not think you are the clingy dork I just got done playing online with.
I have RFOM, and am looking at getting Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Any Bluetooth headset will work. Which you have to give
Sony credit for. I bought the propretary XBox 360 wireless headset. And for $59.99 you can only use it on the 360 (I will not even get into the Hard Drive issue). So I swap my head set betwen my cell phone and PS3. But those things are really cheap now. I saw one at Best Buy this week for $39.99, and you can probably find them cheaper online.
If anyone is interested in Gamefly click the link below. It gets me credit for refering you. I would appreicate it.

I really like game fly, if you like a game that you rent you can buy it just really cheap. I rented Marvel: UA for the XBox 360, ended up wanting to keep it. Paid $30.15, in the store it costs $59.99, at GameStop used it is $54.99. But be fore warned the ship times are around three to four days.
If anyone is interested I wrote up an article on my thoughts of renting games, and using Gamefly you can check it out at:

You can get bluetooth headsets on ebay for $20 and up. So anyone looking to buy a headset should check that option out first if they would like to save some money and don't mind waiting a few days for the package to come. Just make sure you read some product reviews before you decide on a specific model, as far as I know, all bluetooth headsets work with the PS3.

"How does it compare to the 360 games like BF2:MC or GoW?"
The multiplayer on those two games is much more entertaining due to intensity. RFoM...not so much, but it's the best FPS the Playstation brand has. If you thought Killzone is good, this game will blow you away. If you liked Halo 2, you'll hate this game. At least they made the PS3 analogs much less sucky...even if they are in the wrong spot for new gen games.
I'm hoping that playing with people from here would be more interesting...because the last time I played it felt like a graveyard (not because no one was there, but because nothing was really going on).
We could always try to set up a set of playlists to play in order keep it interesting and to allow a chance at all types.
