Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice heads to PSP & PS2

I thoroughly enjoyed the first Pursuit Force (pictured above), a high-octane racer-shooter that has you jumping and gunning from car to car. It perfectly emulated the experience of being in a Hollywood action movie, and although the game was short (and somewhat shallow), it met moderate success on the PSP.
Now, a sequel is heading to both the PSP and PlayStation 2 platforms. Extreme Justice will have players fighting warring gangs once again. Four new recruits to the Pursuit Force will provide support for the player throughout the game. As with the original, the player will commandeer a number of vehicles, including jet skis, helicopters and more. A nice addition to the sequel is multiple difficulty levels: a great addition for those that found the first too hard for their tastes.
The PSP version will feature 4-player ad-hoc multiplayer, and the PS2 version will feature 2-player split-screen. The game is scheduled for a summer 2007 release.

I liked Pursuit Force but I was wishing the nest game would be on the PS3. Plus I think Pursuit Force should come out on only the PS2 or PSP. The versions do not need to kill each other. So because Pursuit Force is coming out on the PS2 I think that sucks it should have just been a PSP excusive.

"Ad Hoc".. when are developers going to realize Sony put WIFI on the PSP for a reason?
I really wish more games would support online multiplayer, that way you can play whenever you want.

It was a sleeper hit. But it was so innovative and varied in its gameplay...and if I may say quite addicting.
Short missions made it ideal for the portable, but the difficulty of some levels would plant you on your couch for a couple of hours at least until you finally catch the bad guys.
I often think about it when I hear all the critics and fanboys that the PSPs games are just poorly made ports of PS2 games. (Funny how anti-Sony fanboy ire usually doesn't translate into user experience)
Go and buy it...then thank me later.

The best news is difficulty level ... finally , I can play it on easy , I never finished the first one , because I findid it to hard :(

Seriously, when are the developers going to entertain infrastructure seriously? For fuck's sake, the replay value of a game--even a sucky one--with netplay, increases many folds! This game would rock with infrastructure, but apparently, only DS seems to have these barely-fun WIFI titles.
