PSP January Content Pack now available

Every month, Sony offers an EXE file they call the "Content Pack" which contains a variety of files, like videos, music and wallpapers for your PSP. This month's pack contains an extensive eight-minute video preview of the upcoming Ratchet & Clank game. You'll also get to keep those creepy PLAY B3YOND ads for the PLAYSTATION 3, and see the "Gran Turismo Awards."
This video-heavy package clocks in at a hefty 178MB. Feel free to visit Sony's official US website to download.
[Thanks, Lucas Caruana!]

Wow. I think I slammed the Content Pack last month. But, geez, this month's is even worse! Why do they even bother? There isn't a single thing in this pack that would make me to waste my bandwidth. I'm going to go back and get last month's pack which I ignored.

I don't usually go for the content packs, but I'll give this one a try. Ratchet & Clank video might be worth watching.

I don't mind free stuff. But i wish they could at least give away content that i'd LIKE to have. All these seen-before trailers have gotten boring and are not worth downloading. What's up with some more demos????

Why does Sony inisist on punishing Mac users by releasing these as Windows installer apps? How hard would it be for them to make a java installer wrapper for these files or to offer them as a .zip file?

Hmmm, when I try to open that exe file, it gives me "not enough space on c:\ please free up 170MB" but I have over 20 GB free space on my drive.
Maybe this is why I never mess with the content packs.... junk.
