MotorStorm stalls for a little bit in March
Well, the official Sony webpage has pulled the February release of MotorStorm and replaced it with "Spring". While that, to some, may say "oops", don't worry. What happens in March? Oh yeah, Spring. IGN contacted Sony to give this vague release date change a little more focus. Do you wonder what they found out? Let's raise the curtain and shed some light on the situation.Sony says: "The team is doing some additional fine tuning and getting the online features squared away so they are taking a bit more time. It'll come out in March, though we [won't] make the specific date public yet." If you read any impressions on the Japanese release of MotorStorm, you'll have heard of a barren game with no additional options other than "race". So, let's give these developers the benefit of the doubt and allow them the honor of tweaking online play and whatever other options so we get the amazing off-road madness we so desperately desire.

This game will get old in about one week.
I don't know what the big deal is. The demo was average at best with retarded looking fake vehicle explosions. Rental at best.

The final version will be better than the Old demo you have probably played at a store!
This is a game I have been looking forward to and has drastically improved since the release of that demo.

Dang! Im need a racer.. im holding out on Ridge Racer 7 for this, but, if it makes the online better, than no big wup. Heck, i waited 4+ years for Zelda TP on my GC.

i hope this game has a split screen multiplayer. this game could easily be the most fun ps3 game if you could play with some friends offline.

I ordered the Japanese version of Motorstorm. I love the game and it is damn good fun. BUT, it was lacking too many features. Trust me, I actually admire them for not bringing it out too soon here in the states. It NEEDS multiplayer and I want to see them get the online component done right; good job Evolution and Sony on the delay. I would rather see them delay by a month or two to get it done right!!! Take your time with this baby!!! It is a showcase piece of what your system can do!

I'm hoping this means they are implementing features from a new, improved PS3 Network, or whatever they are going to call the answer to xbox live they will need to come out with. I've got mine preordered through amazon, who sent me an email announcing a new, march 8th release date. Fingers crossed, looking forward to this one. I can't remember the last racer where running in the middle of the pack, battling it out was so much fun. Can't wait for online...
