Sam Fisher gets butt kicked by a girl

While she looks more like that Borg chic from Star Trek: Voyager, Sam Fisher is getting some extra help from the superior sex in the upcoming Splinter Cell: Double Agent. The new female secret-agent is lean, mean and can only be found in the PS3 version of the game.

Stephane Baudet, Studio Director at Ubisoft, provided some of the background behind the new charcter for PSM: "Having a female playable character in the game is something that we wanted to have since we started working on Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. On Double Agent [for the Xbox 360], this idea was still present, but because of a lack of time we couldn't add it properly. Then when we started working on the PS3-specific content, the spy girl was at the top of our list. We really liked the idea because it really embraces the fact that the spy should be cat-like, very nimble."

The new female super-spy is a great addition to the game's PS3 exclusive content, which also includes SIXAXIS support and new maps. Who's going to play this nimble vixen in multi-player?

#3 is RIGHT though, this is just a simple ploy for the PS3 bunch and I'll buy it just for the small diffrence!!

Well, ain't that a load of bull. You are trying to help Sony sell systems rather than releasing content like this in the Xbox Live Marketplace. Sounds more like Ubi flipping Microsoft the bird for buying out the next SC.

Or I guess it's up to game developers to entice gamers to buy it on PS3 over Xbox 360...cause heaven knows Sony sure can't.

Lol, if Micro is paying everyone to have thier games exclusive, then the devs should simply refuse to develop a game for 360 until Micro pays up ^^ Free cash! Plus profits ;)

Samus Aran just called and she says "this bitch has nothing on me[her]". She also says that she's "still the top bitch of video games". "Nimble? Can she roll herself into a freaking ball and do a lot of unimaginable things? Thought so", she added.

I won't buy it just for that. I would buy it if:

-It had real co-op play. Not that crappy multiplayer-turned co-op like on the 360 version. I'm talking Chaos Theory style.

-It had online co-op play.

-I knew anyone that actually planned on getting a PS3 and this game (in order to have someone competent to co-op with). None of my friends can really afford to drop the money on a gaming console. =\

Then again, why buy a game twice? Bah, I'm getting a Wii today hopefully. The PS3 isn't going to have any quality exclusive titles for a while, so it's just a Blu-ray player/Linux box to me for now. *grumble FFXIII grumble*
