The wait is almost over, but unfortunately this week we just don't have any good news for you. Not even a PS2 game to hold us over. Hang in there. Good things are worth waiting for!

All my PS3 is used for is to play blu rays. Kind of sad. I'm rooting for Sony but MSFT and Nintendo are kicking ass.

#5, I would but the Blu-Ray Player Sucks! It Descales the resolution down to 480p. So Sad, Sony you really need to Fix This!!!

Thats it Im returning my PS3...no games...hardly any good movies on blu-ray...linux ydl runs slow. This machine is not ready yet and Ive given up. Im returning it before my 30 days runs out.

That sucks about the 480P/1080i TVs. I thought my TV was that way, but I think it has it's own scaler in it, because nowhere in the specs does it claim 720p support.
I quickly tired of Resistance because it's rather substandard for an FPS game. The sound wasn't done very well, leaving little for immersion. Playing online is really boring...it doesn't even feel like an action game half the time. I hooked up my Motorola Bluetooth headset and set it up in the game...but apparently nobody uses headsets? Dead air...the whole time...
The problem is...there's really no other games that are worth the purchase if you already have a 360. If I'm going to play online, XBL is just a better experience so far. If you're going to go shopping, the PSN is more professional looking...but I'm here to play games.
Without GPU support, PS3 YDL Linux is essentially worthless. Did they do the same crap with PS2 Linux?

Only if MPEG2 wasn't used and the movie was recorded in the last few years. But most recent movies are horrible, and aren't worth purchasing.
Terminator 2 was a fluke...the DVD version is just a good. I'm hoping AVP will come through, but $40? Good hell I already have two versions of it on DVD that I was perfectly happy with.

The lack of games really makes this thing seem like a bad investment sitting and gathering dust. Maybe Sony needs to get back to the game side of things and make some better developer tools to boot.
If I was so excited about bluray movies I don't think I would have gone shopping for a game machine. Besides that, the selection of bluray movies blows. Each time I go to grab a new movie I don't see it in that format - so whats the point?

Man, you guys really need to stop this. Only post the PS3 Game releases if games are coming out. It just makes PS3 and Sony sadder each week when you guys do that. Last like 5-6 weeks all there has been is "Sorry guys, no new games this wekk, but keep waiting". I think to save you guys time and save from filling up your website too fast, only do the weekly game releases when there are games beign released that week, so we can talk about them. Kind of sad and boring talking about nothing for 6 weeks, cause PS3 aint got nothing goin for it right now.
