It's an Eidos sequel extravaganza!
Let us know if you've played any of these games: Tomb Raider, Just Cause, Hitman or Championship Manager? Do you want to play a sequel to any of these titles? Or, in the case of some, the "latest" sequel? You will. Eidos has announced it's starting up sequels to all of the above titles as well as ramping up production on two of their original IP's: Kane & Lynch and Crossfire. They haven't, however, said what systems these games will come to.Eidos said in their press release: "In the light of the launch of the Sony PlayStation 3 in North America in November 2006 and its planned European launch in Spring 2007 we are assessing the timing of when to launch these titles on the appropriate next generation platforms." So, basically, we've no idea when these things are due. At all. Or if they've even got much tangible started for many of the titles. We'll keep looking, but hey, it's the generation of sequels after all. In that respect, it'll be good to see many of our faves on a new, probably more beautiful, adventure.

Hey! This is great news, especially for Just Cause. If you get a chance, play this game on 360 for the time being, simply for the great draw distance. It feels a little bit like a low quality GTA clone until you start getting into the super action hero moments. It was an immensely engaging and satisfying game in the end.
I'm typically a Sony hater, but I know JC's gameplay is so solid that the game would play very well on just about any system.

Hey, new comment system (finally!)
So it looks like Kane and Lynch is coming to the PS3 (and the PS2 and PSP). At least according to a report from Australia:

I think a Just Cause sequal could be great. The first one was an interesting game (like far cry crossed with GTA), but was a very freshman effort and had some annoying flaws/issues. Hopefully the sequal will address some of them.
