Everything has been quiet over at Level 5 regarding the smashing title,
White Knight Story. Ever since it left quite a few JRPG nuts with mouths agape at the end of its trailer, people have been scrambling to find anything on this game. Well, we're here to inform you that... no, we don't have anything either. No gameplay details, plot details (other than the "I morph into a big knight and battle baddies in real time like
Chrono Trigger... which for some reason very few, if any, other JRPG's tried to emulate" stuff), no nothing... except a few new pieces of concept art. Not even really "concept" art, more like... art.
Not sure who the art director is for this game, but the art for the three known human characters looks mighty familiar. Detailed like
Valkyrie Profile art, but similar in design to the anime
Last Exile. Of course, we could be way off. Anyway, check out the artworks, get a new wallpaper... and hope we see this game in 2008.

in 2008?!? This was supposed to be a launch title, and got delayed. Didn't you mean "before 2008"?

Oh man, White Knight makes me giddy like a 14 year old schoolgirl. Cannot FREAKING wait. Level 5 has made some of my favorite PS2 games, and this looks stellar.

@ Borat -- Yeah, I'm going to ahead and say 2008. That way, if I'm wrong, it's a good thing! Besides, if they're still just releasing "art" to us, they've got quite a bit to do. Although they might want to release it before or after FFXIII, so the two games don't cannibalize each other. It's give or take, I'm just being conservative/pessimistic!

Concept art looks a whole lot like the concept art for Soul Calibur. And yeah, Level 5 is absolutley awesome. Cannot WAIT for this game!

you know,.. this is pretty old. We saw this art ages and ages ago, infact i think ps3 fanboy has already shown these exact same images.
this isent newly released artwork, its just reshowing what we already have.

This is the one company I hope Sony buys soon. This would be a great plus having this great company to work only for PS3 and PSP. Plus like IGN said they think Sony will buy different companies this year and I think this would be one they would try to get.
