Available now is the all-terrain racing title Jet Moto. It's a classic, indeed. Also available for your download pleasure is the multiplayer expansion pack for the fun-filled Blast Factor. The pack allows 4 players to join in cooperative or grudge match multiplayer modes. You can also speed the game up to 150%. The expansion costs three bucks while Jet Moto will set you back six. Ummmm.....you guys should try this Crackdown demo. It's yummy and braindead. You Sony-ites would love it.

Eh... I tried it. It's okay, but I wasn't blown away. The graphics are pretty subpar - totally not digging the crappy cel shading. And the city environment is pretty plain and generic. GTA in da FUTURE about sums it up. San Andreas on my computer a year and a half ago looked better. Oooh, it has a far draw distance...
And your dude is next to invincible, in the demo at least. Lame when I'm standing there and can take 20 dudes firing at me at the same time. Are all gang members in the future equiped with Nerf guns?
That said, I like the targeting system and the general sandbox environment (oh and co-op!). Other than that though, its nothing special...
Course, at least it's SOMETHING. Come on sony, kick down the demos!

Now now, there's no need to bring up the 360 game Crackdown...
Figboy @ Feb 1st 2007 7:11PM
i agree Sony needs to hit us with demos of upcoming games, but don't you think they're going to do that eventually?
i mean, damn, the 360 didn't have demos for Gears of War or Lost Planet two months after it's release.
also, having worked in the gaming industry, i can say that demos take time to make, and take resources generally needed to complete the game.
what would you much rather want? a 30 minute demo (i'm looking at you Crackdown. fun demo, but that timer sucks), and a delayed game because the developers were working 16 hour days on the demo, or the developers actually focusing on the finished product, and devoting whatever time they have extra on a demo that'll be released a few weeks before actual launch?
besides, you guys mention games that aren't due out until late 2007. it's already been established that the PS3 is a bitch to program for, so i expect demos to be in short supply for a while until they learn the complicated architecture better. by the end of this year, or at earliest, this summer, we'll see more content. it just takes time. i swear, sometimes you joystiq guys behave like impatient kids.
now i know how my mom felt when i'd harass the hell out of her when i was nine.

More PS store updates... everything but Tekken. I think great games... don't need online demos, and games that developers know are crappy definitely don't need demos.. but some games that are good, that people might not natrually try out, need demos.. Lair.. I think is a good candidate; Sonic bad candidate (if its crappy), and Heavenly Sword - type of game that's going to be great no matter what.

TEKKEN!!! GIVE US TEKKEN!!! Why does Sony hate America soo much. The frackin game was released an eternity ago in Japan. But for some stupid reason we STILL dont have it. And crckdown is like most 360 games and chinese food, it sounds good in the beginning and you like it for the first 10 minutes but an hour later after you shyt it out you forget all about it. Overhyped and Overrated.
chillski @ Feb 3rd 2007 2:35AM
uhh, what the hell??there ISNT even a single port game available to the PS3, jet moto is only available for the PSP !!!
