Ubisoft brings PSP Free Running
Ubisoft and Reef Entertainment sent out a press release stating they will be bringing Free Running to the PSP (and other systems) in the UK in March. The game focuses on the alternative sport of free running that involves jumping across building tops, climbing over obstacles and generally using the city as your playground. Sebastien Foucan the creator of free running was recently in the Bond film Casino Royale and in the game you'll compete against him to become the greatest free runner of all time.
Free Running will feature more than 60 challenges spread over 10 different levels in 3 distinct time zones, each with their own style of gameplay. 9 single and multiplayer modes like freestyle, time attack and ground zero. As you progress, you'll unlock characters, clothes, tricks videos and music.

But... THINK OF THE CHILDREN!! If GTA can cause kids to go out and kill people... this game will cause kids around the world to make lemming-like leaps from rooftops, destroying humanity as we know it!!!!

Check out this youtube video of someone really "free running". Should be an awesome game if the developers did a good job on it.

As soon as I saw Ubisoft and Free running in the same sentnce, I thought of Assasin's Creed.
I don't know if anyone else heared about it hear, but A big part of the game is running away, as fast as possible(you find the target, kill it, get away, repeat. And then there are side mission which may help you do any one of those things)
They explained the controls to be: Triangle = head(assasin vision, that let's you find the target, or eves drop, or whatever misscelanious thing that can be found on your face) X=feet, and either Sqaure or Circle are different ways of using your hands, or each individual hand.
The controlls really got me thinking of possibilities, especially co-op, Crackdown style, where you can race against your friends. Basicly yht epremise of Free running. Anyway, since both are being developed by Ubisoft, and all their games are made by, like, 5 studios who alwyas co-operate, I am really hoping they use a modified version of the Assasin Creed engine, so we can get a preview of what it would be like.
