UK to get unfair share of PS3s?

Great Britain is scheduled to get 220,000 PS3 consoles on the European launch day. That's a whopping 22% of available stock. And it's a lot more than North America saw on it's own launch day. Were not sure how a little island gets more than a whole continent, but were sure it has something to do with the Queen's rumored obsession with video games (especially GTA3). While other European nations are calling for a "PlayStation 3 party" to intercept and dump the British PS3s overboard, we ask for patience. More PS3 will arrive shortly.[Via Afterdawn]

Maybe its because people in the UK and ROI are better gamers than in other european countries and thus we deserve more units

They are just trying to substantiate statements about an "unprecedented" launch...which it is not.

I'm guessing Ireland is included in that "220000 units for the uk" number. So it has to cover two countries (although the majority will be for the UK)
Besides we had to wait, so they have to feed the demand.

How is that unfair? I dont think you're taking into consideration that our Launch was delayed 5 months - some people would say that was unfair, but I bet you'd just reply "stop moaning".

The u.k. is made up of more than 3 countries. Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England, I also bet the 22,000 also covers the isles such as Isle of Man, which is not part of the U.K., but does have the Queen as the head of state, also famous for the the T.T. Races

Stop whining you ungrateful cnuts, youve had yours for months while we as usual have had to wait. If youre so jealous youre welcome to but one of ours theyre $800 here. Oh and please remember, I know they teach you other wise in schools, but the U.S. is not the centre (oops that should be 'center', I forgot you even have to have your own language as well) of the world.

lol. I bet it will take 1/2 months so that those consoles get out of stock. Sony was idiot on delaying the launch in Europe now they are going to bite the dust.

The problem with most americans is there education, you see. They're taught they won ww2 etc, when all they really did is come in a late entry and ease a bit of pressure, you know, pop some caps in yo' german asses.
Anyway, who cares. The ps3 is rubbish atm and deep down, we ALL know it.
