New Final Fantasy Anniversary screens

The fine folks over at Game Watch have put up some new screens from the Final Fantasy PSP rendition. The screens show combat, a cinema scene and the screen above. The game is scheduled to hit Japan April 19th, though no US date has been set yet. It's looking very nice considering, but I think the main deciding factor in these releases will be the price point. Will you be buying these releases and what Final Fantasy number would be your dream port to PSP?

Looks good.
Hopefully each game will cost around $20 because both of these games should be on 1 umd for $20.

between this, FF Tactics: The Lion War, and FFVII: Crisis Core, the PSP is getting a lot of Final Fantasy love this year.
if all goes well, i wouldn't be surprised if we saw the DS version of FFIII, barring any touch screen features, of course.

Go to your local EBGames or GameStop and take a look at their binder of games coming out. I stopped by the other day while picking up FF6, and saw both titles listed in the book, with separate SKUs and release dates.
The bad news? Both $40.
Oh well, and I had been looking forward to buying FF1 for the fourth time...

I would give 30-50 $ for bot on a UMD , but to pay for both 80 $ ( and for me here in Romania at least 100 $ ) its a bit high ... Il deffinatly buy the first one , but not that shure about the second one :?

I might pick up these versions, though I played both of them on the Playstation. Personally the Fantasy that I would like to get on the system is one that I picked up today for GBA and that would be VI. I would probably buy it a fourth time if it came out on the PSP, but I would much prefer a graphically updated version if possible, maybe like III.

I am still stuck on the fact that we are expected to pay $40 x 2 to get what we had > 2 years ago for $30 just to get graphics that aren't even as good as the Legend of Heroes series ...
