Phil Harrison likes to rub his dub

I had to double check that it wasn't April 1st when I read the news that Sony's Phil Harrison had announced a new game called Super Rub Dub at the DICE gaming conference today.

Apparently the game is based on the ~~lame~~ whimsical PS3 rubber duck technology demo from last years E3. Super Rub Dub is completely motion controlled and features Super-Monkey Ball-like gameplay. SRD will be available for download and purchase exclusively via the Sony Online Store sometime "soon."

Yes! Another PS3 exclusive!

I just want to see more Content on PSN.. no matter what it is. Well not that Sony has got the Rubber Ducky rendered, and the water rendered.. now they just need to add that lady from Heavenly Sword.. I'm sure she's dirty from all the fighting.

I think the PSN needs more demos.... on the 360 i spend most of my time playing the demos.... I demand more demos for PSN!!! anything will do... even ps2 demos... maybe God of War II?? anything....

Why are you using the tech demo version rather than the actual version they showed on DICE? Is ps3fanboy on Sony's payroll?

First of all, Frankie, have you forgotten Sony pays noone, lol, its Micro dishing out all the cash, why do you think devs like Micro and go muliplat or exclusive, free cash, nothing else, lol.

Now that that is cleared up, I must say this is my most highest anticipated game, I am so excited I can barely control myself, look at those graphics, look at that gameplay, oh the shear quality, this is gotta be a killer ap, no wait, a mega killer ap, all other console fans will be so pissed they havent bought a PS3 yet so they can get this amazing rubber ducky game. Heck, all those PS3s in America sitting around will be grabbed off the shelves in seconds. :)

Its funny to see something like the rubber ducky demo praised as great content for the PS3. While it looks like something that could be very addicting, I can't help but think they are desperate for market share. This would have been more suited as a prepacked launch bundle, much like wii sports, to let players know what the controller can do. That and its not nearly as intimidating to new players as what is out on the PS3 now.

I think what we need is another katamari and loco roco, both using the motion sensing for game play.

The other funny thing is that if microsoft came up with this, their fans would be quick to defend the greatness that is this product.

Things have gotten so bad on this site that people post a comment on a game they know nothing about. Just having a nice 3D toy for the PS3 would be ok. No, it s not gears or halo nobody is saying that. I have noticed a lot more flaming since IGN and investment forecast companies all came out saying PS3 will win. Man, I could so care less who "wins". Why do 360 fans have to pollute the PS3 fan site with curses and negativity based on nothing more then their own inner hostility venting. I think all those FPS games have done some damage. Tell you what, first chance you get sign up and go over to Iraq, kill a bunch of innocent civillians and come back a wonderful human being, congrats.

The problem isn't the fanboys, all sides have some pretty stupid ones, it's the ease of going to fan sites like this and posting. Some of the fan sites I go to just ignore them and they go away. If they don't think you are paying attention, they won't get their pleasure.

Awesome, just awesome this game is amazing! At first i thought it wasnt all that but until i played the acutal demo .... WOW! This game is so addictive it's scary! When u come top scores in the top 5 online scores, ur replay is automatically uploaded for all the world to see! heeheh This is a bargain game at wot just $6? It's definitely more justifiable purchase than flOw :p
