Resistance, Motorstorm, Rubaduck, flow, maybe Blazing Angels ... and Baseball (unfortunately not on the euro-list so I have to order it from the states). man - my birthday is on the day the ps3 launches here in euroland - that´s what I call a great gift. thanks sony!

That's a pretty sweet list, I feel good for the UK cats who had to wait so long for the launch, at least you have a nice selection of games to pick from unlike us over here in the states.

That's a nice launch line-up. Looks like Sony is launching the PS3 in Europe like they should have in the U.S. There could be some good news in store for Sony with this launch.
SuicideNinja @ Feb 13th 2007 2:39PM
The stuff I want is totally not on that list.

resistance and motorstorm.but to play those games i have to buy a ps3, so £425+ £40/£50 +£40/£50 =£505 minimum £525 maximum, not gonna happen.

Well one thing that makes me mad is the Europe Launch is so going to be better then the other launch. If Sony was to have launch next month with all the consoles that they made plus the Europe ones this would have given more time to make Fall of man even better. Also I am not saying it is bad. Just with a little more time the game could have been greater.
So with that being said this is a launch lots of games.

I see nothing there I would buy.
Wake me when GT5, GTA4 and FF13 come out.

europe gets the real ps3 launch.
heavenly sword and lair were rescheduled for later launch dates. i think so that the ps3 would have good content in what would be otherwise be lull periods and to make sure they don't get lost in the mess of titles comming out at launch. motorstorm can hold down the euro launch. let lair hit in the summer, HS in the eary fall, and then the hevey hitting eveybody knows sequeals can take the holiday season (MGS4/FF13). as a gamer it's not what i want, but as someone who want's his $600 investment to excell for years to come, i say let it happen. sony messed things up on psp with a fat lull in games and more umds than games early on and even now as psp has more games with meta scores above 75 and 80% people still think the system has no games. hey, at the very least it will give those titles a little more time for a little more polish and a really good marketing push. and for new GOOD I.P. like HS and lair, it needs all the attention it can get.

I've got motorstorm preorderd, and I'm looking forward to shoving our friends across the atlantic off a few cliffs. Too bad the US launch didn't look like this, perhaps Sony will have a nice big marketing push come March in North America and Japan to let everyone know the games are coming out to play.

I love how every article on this site seems to live in the Shadow of the 360. The 360 is mentioned in almost every article for some reason or another.
