Games that can't come out fast enough... remix!

This is an interesting read that we at PS3Fanboy would love to add some titles to. Basically, JonahFalcon listed titles of games that "can't come out fast enough", titles that people would do some pretty crazy tasks for if promised a copy this very moment (imagine those old Klondike ads, but with a Fear Factor edge). We enjoyed the list but have to say, even for a subjective list, we'd like to offer up a few titles to add. First, his listings for the PlayStation 3:

Metal Gear Solid 4
Grand Theft Auto IV

Seriously, that's all? It's our turn to add our own subjective lists! I'll go first since, well, I have to.

Metal Gear Solid 4
Devil May Cry 4
White Knight Story (I would eat my own vomit out of a toilet with a bronze ladel if Level 5 promised me a copy this very moment)
Lair
Alone in the Dark
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy Versus XIII

That's my list. Those games seriously can't come out fast enough for me. How about you guys? Remember -- this isn't just for "games you want"... these are games you would shave your mother's hair for. Games you'd dip your girlfriend in hot tar for... etc, etc. You get the idea.

Anyway. Yeah that'll have to be Metal Gear Solid 4. That IS my list ahah.

For less drastic measures, both FFs, GT Vision, and Lair.

Wow.. I've never even heard of White Knight Story before and I have to say I would go through the same measures as you my friend. I am actually looking forward to this game more than FF13 now after all the images and the video I've seen. But my list would be: White Knight Story, FF13 and Versus, MGS4, GTA4

I wasn't encyclopedic on purpose. I just took the creme de la creme - I didn't list all that many titles per system, really. I didn't list, for example, Assassin's Creed or Mass Effect. PS. Bioshock still may come out for PS3. It's just not confirmed.

Gran Turismo 5, for sure. Maybe Final Fantasy XIII, but I'll have to see more first. Outside the PS3: Bioshock, Mass Effect, Culdcept Saga (if it ever makes it to the US), and Lost Odessey (sp?).

- Kingdom Hearts 3 (not confirmed for PS3)
- Resistance: FoM 2 (probably gonna happen)

All of the games mentioned, and nobody mentions:

Ninja Gaiden Sigma? True, it's a port, but it's a very refined port, with better gameplay, more levels, a new storyline (Rachel's), and probably more cut-scenes (Tecmo just loves them).

I'm more baffled about the fact that nobody mentioned:

Heavenly Sword. Has nobody seen the demos yet? It has potential for "best action game ever". It looks like it could dethrone god of war in that aspect.

Other exclusive games not mentioned:

L.A. Noire
Afrika
Eyedentify
Singstar
The Getaway 3
Naughty Dog's project

And rumoured:

Kingdom Hearts 3
Shadow of the Colossus 2
God of War 3

I'm also looking forward to Assassin's Creed, GTA4, Lair, White Knight Story, Warhawk, GT5, FFXIII, FFVersusXIII, Tekken 6, and of course, the unforgetable Killzone 2, hoping Sony isn't lying again on that one.

No, I'm not looking forward to Motorstorm; it's just a racing game, but the worst part is that a game like that would benefit a lot from rumble.

I also hope japanese developers that are making exclusives for 360 actually realize that the PS3 is more successful in japan and port their games over.

online gran turismo is the only reason i am interested in a ps3. i havent seen any other game that brings anything new to the table. its all been done before.

GT5 is the only game that matters.

i believe carlos is right bioshock will be on ps3 becasue if you go on the ps3 store (if you have a ps3 you know what i mean) it has bioshock stuff on there so im assuming itll be on ps3

and i dont know if any of you have seen this but brothers in arms hells highway looks amazing the grapics are equivalent to ff13 and its very realistic in terms of ww2 shooters

I hope you're right papa g. I'm ready to buy a next-gen console but I'm reluctant to get a 360 because of the overheating problems. I don't know if the 360 v2 coming out will have fix the overheating or not. If Bioshock would definitely be released on the PS3, my decision would be easier.
