Six MotorStorm screens to hold you over!

I can't wait for this one! The final retail build is supposed to be much better than the PS3 store demo. Who knows if that's true, but these screenshots sure do look pretty. This is about as close to the "target render" as we can hope at this point. If the game looks this good in motion, MotorStorm may quickly become one of my all-time faves. I don't ever seem to get tired of playing the demo.

If the North Ameican build is better than the Import i got, then kudos, but as it is, this is a very pretty, and excessively fun game. I worry a little bit about the multiplayer, and the 2-player split screen (they did say that was going to make it into the stateside release, right?). For most of the early levels, I never experienced any problems, but the AI becomes much more competetive in the later levels, resulting in more vehicles on screen, which ends up giving you the occasional loss of framerate (especially in big rigs).
Not to say I'm not looking forward to it, I just hope that they've done something new with the code, because otherwise, these beautiful screenshots will not have their due justice.

it would help if we could, you know, see these screen shots properly. like, not in tiny thumbnail size.

@2, click on the READ link (or the Worthplaying credit link). It will take you straight to the full blown screenshots.

I would REALLY like to see the prerender that we keep comparing this to recreated using the in-game engine, but using the target render's camera angles and scripting. I personally believe that the cinematic angles and approach is a big part of what "seperates" that video from the game footage.
I can't wait to get my hands on this one, who needs a wii when you can laugh at your friends trying to control the motorcycle using the sixaxis?

Pretty but not exactly the "as good as the target render at 60fps 1080P" we were promised a couple of months ago. They'd better have the frame rate issues and multiplayer sorted out or there's going to be hell to pay.

@3, i don't know whhere you could of thought i had been looking other than the "Read" link, but that is what i was talking about. it shows 6 tiny thumbnail images which do nothing when clicked on normally and bring up an empty page when tab/middle-click opened.

@7, must be your computer, mine is fine. Try opening them just normally, not in a new tab. Should be a new window.
